「although」と「even though」に違いはありますか？

「although」と「even though」は共に「〜にも関わらず」という意味を持つ従属接続詞（従属節と独立節を繋げる接続詞）ですが、「even though」の方がより強調した表現になります。

He did it although he was warned many times not to do it.

He did it even though he was warned many times not to do it.

彼は何度もそうしないように警告されていたにも関わらず、それをやった。

「even if」と「even though」の違いは何ですか？

「even if」は「（仮定の話として）～だとしても」という意味で使用されます。一方、「even though」は「（実際の話として）～だけれども」という意味で使用されます。

He will buy the new smartphone even if it’s expensive.

彼は（仮に）高価だとしても、その新しいスマートフォンを買うだろう。

He will buy the new smartphone even though it’s expensive.

彼は（実際に）高価だけれども、その新しいスマートフォンを買うだろう。
