「uninterested」と「disinterested」に違いはありますか?

「Uninterested」は「興味がない」という意味になります。

He’s uninterested in movies.(「He’s not interested in movies.」も可)

彼は、映画に興味がない

厳密には、「disinterested」は「uninterested(興味がない)」と同じ意味も持ちますが、一般的には使用されません。「公平な、他の人(こと)により影響を受けない」という意味で使用されます。

A disinterested anchorman moderated the debate.

公平なニュースキャスターがディベートの司会を務めた。

あえて、「disinterested」を「興味がない」という意味で使用することも可能です。

He’s disinterested in movies.
