「although」と「even though」に違いはありますか？

「although」と「even though」は共に「〜にも関わらず」という意味を持つ従属接続詞（従属節と独立節を繋げる接続詞）ですが、「even though」の方がより強調した表現になります。

He did it although he was warned many times not to do it.

He did it even though he was warned many times not to do it.

彼は何度もそうしないように警告されていたにも関わらず、それをやった。
