「ほぼ全員(の人)」といいたい場合、「most people」で合っていますか?

「Most people」は「大多数の人、殆どの人」という意味になります。「ほぼ全員(の人) 」といいたい場合、「almost all people」の方が意味的に近いです。「Almost (あと少しで、あとわずかで)」が「all people(全員(の人))」を修飾します。

Almost all people voted in the previous election.

前回の選挙では、ほぼ全員の人が投票した。

Most people voted in the previous election.

前回の選挙では、殆どの人が投票した。

※「Almost people」だと、「あと少しで人間」という意味になってしまいますので、気を付けましょう。

Chimpanzees are almost people.

チンパンジーは、あと少しで人間である。
